There was a time when coaching was regarded as a “soft skill”. Increasingly, it’s seen as an UpSkill. Why is this?
Coaching is a structured process founded on tried-and-tested principles that, over time, have been refined and evaluated to produce maximum consistency and results. Do this in company and you have a consistent approach to people handling, leadership and culture. There will always be a place for the external executive coach but why limit coaching to that senior level when everyone in the organisation could benefit from these skills?
